Work on the programming side of things
I can't believe it! I'm finished!... Oh drat, it's gone...
The programming subteam is probably the most complicated team, but that all depends on the year. That's one of the reasons why it is so complicated. Say you program our New Year's Eve ball, but then just one week later you have to program a robot. With a new language. That's right, I'm not talking about english.
No matter how many languages you know in programming, I can just about guarentee you there is always going to be one more. On the upside, you can use that language in several projects (well, you can always hope.) Just don't count on it being the only language you use. Currently, our team uses LabVIEW and PBasic, although in past years we have used C++.

The programming subteam may be complicated, but it is certainly important. Even though all the other teams can put together something amazing for the robot, without the programming team, it wouldn't do anything.
